Micro Pavé Setting


(Pronounced Pa Vay) A setting where tiny diamonds (about 1 mm or less in diameter) are set in metal by digging holes. Since this technique uses very small diamonds, the process is done using a microscope for proper execution of settings. While setting the stone, the craftsman builds prongs around the stone from the metal. This normally leads to a very exquisite product. 		Pavé Setting
