Invisible Setting

A setting where stones are placed very closely together in a metal framework below the surface so that the metal cannot be seen. Stones sit side-by-side, giving them the appearance of a continuous surface. Each stone is grooved on 2 sides and locked into sub-surface framework. This setting is often used to create the illusion of larger diamonds in rings and is an excellent way to showcase the brilliance or color of the stones.
